This Ultra-rare fruit Red Mangosteen or Garcinia hombroniana, is native to Asia, It is commonly called Red Mangosteen or Seashore or Beach Mangosteen.
It is a small tree that grows near the seashore so is more salt and sand tolerant than the purple mangosteen. It is also considered by many to be more hardier than the Purple Mangosteen as well.
Very exotic and uncommon.
