All the way from Northern India a village named Dasheri where the birth of an extraordinary mango is welcomed into existence. This mango was only recognized when it was planted in the garden of the Nawab or ruler, of the area during the 18th century. Desheri mangoes were planted in many of the mango growing regions of India after it became popular in the northern region. The oldest and largest growing region of Dasheri mangoes is in Malihabad in Uttar Pradesh, in northern India. Fig Tree Black Mission Variety in a 3 Gallon Container. With a history that dates back to 5,000 B.C. the edible fig is one of the most widely recognized and distributed fruits in the world. They were first introduced to the New World through Mexico in 1560 and then to California in 1769. It is one of the few fruits that can be grown in all fifty states, and there are a multitude of varieties suitable to each growing region. The Black Mission and especially the Brown Turkey variety are the two best for tropical and subtropical climates. Black Mission figs are teardrop in shape with thin black skin and a reddish flesh. Sweeter than honey these larger figs are the cream of the crop. They provide 2 crops a year.

Tamarind Tree in a 3 Gallon Container. The tamarind is a graceful stately tree commonly found in the south Florida landscape and growing wild along Central American roadsides. The fruit hang in clusters peapod like legumes typically six to eight inches long. The fruit is eaten fresh, in candies, and in sauces. Tea Plant Large Leaf Variety in a 3 Gallon Container. The Tea plant is a small shrub about 1-2 meters in height, though it will grow taller if you don't prune it. In the fall, your tea shrub will flower with small white blossoms that have a delightful scent. These plants are often grown as ornamentals. For planting, Camellia sinensis likes well-drained and sandy soil that is on the acidic side. If you are going to grow your tea in a container, add some sphagnum moss to the potting mix.
