Yerba Mate tree, Ilex paraguariensis in a 3 gallon container. A tea like drink is made from the leaves as well as the tender stems of this elusive tree, the drink made from this plant is often referred to by the Amazonians as the "Drink of the Gods". The leaves of the yerba mate tree contain 24 vitamins and minerals, 15 amino acids, abundant antioxidants and naturally occurring caffeine. Of the six commonly used stimulants in the world: mate, coffee, tea, kola nut, cocoa, and guarana, yerba mate is the healthiest, delivering both energy and nutrition. Yerba Mate is native to the subtropical rainforests of Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina. Even though yerba mate has caffeine, most caffeine-sensitive individuals do not experience the harsh side effects (jitters, stomach upset, headaches, addiction) that are common complaints with coffee, black tea, or Asian green tea. Many people in the Amazon refer to Yerba Mate as their "liquid vegetable" and rely on its vast array of nutrients to give them the energy they need thought the day. Lemon Bay Rum tree in a 3 gallon container. Unique variety of Bay Rum with a refreshing lemon scent. The bayberry or bay rum tree (Pimenta racemosa) is a broadleaved tropical evergreen native to the islands of the Caribbean. The bay rum tree is known for the essential oil present in the leaves and stems. The oil, composed of terpenes, has a clove-like fragrance. Bay rum first came about as a 'rub' for sore muscles, strains, and sprains. It was also discovered that the essential oil contains a diterpene that has anti-bacterial properties. Bay rum was a popular aftershave in the early 20th century. It is literally made with the leaves of the tree and rum. Consequently, the aftershave has its spicy notes from the bay and its smoky, woody tones from the rum aged in casks.

The Ross Sapote Fruit grown in a 3 gallon container is a close relative of the Canistel fruit. The fruit has a thin orange to yellow hue in skin color. The flesh is moist and it resembles a hard boiled egg yolk. The taste is unbelievable has the flavor of the Lucuma fruit.

Wampee/Wampi Tree in a 3 Gallon Container. Wampi is a small tree from Southern China. It bears many small white five- parted flowers in clusters at the branch tips. The fruits are globose yellow berries with five sections about an inch in diameter. The leaves are quite crinkled in appearance. The fruit is ready to pick when the skin changes from green to yellow and the flavor is like a tart gooseberry. It is usually eaten out of hand or made into jam or a refreshing drink. It is considered in both Thailand and Southern China as one of the finest fruits.

The Diamond is a semi dwarf variety grown in a 3 gallon container. The Diamond has a unique consistency makes it a collector must have. It contains some fiber, and has a green vegetable-like taste not found in the dessert type mangoes. Holds up well to storage due to its solid interior. A mid-season variety, weighing around 1 lb, it has a green skin that ripens with just a touch of yellow.

Mango Tree Zill Variety Grafted in a 3 Gallon Container. Zill is a Haden seedling selected in Lake Worth , Florida in 1940. The fruit are born in clusters and have a tendancy to ripen all at the same time. The flesh is firm, juicy, and has a very pleasant aroma. The flavor is sweet having just a hint of pineapple. The fruit ripens from June to early July. Makes a great shade tree.

Curry Leaf/Limro Tree in a 3 gallon container. The curry leaf plant, is a native of Tropical Asia, southern India and Sri Lanka. Belonging to the Rutaceae family, the Murraya Koenigi plant grows to a height between 2 and five meters, depending on various factors. The leaves are small, pointed and in clusters, giving of a strong aroma faintly reminding one of citrus and anise. The aroma is delightful when added to curries and while frying spices, and lends that extra something to south Indian dishes. It also has many medicinal uses and is an anti-carcinegine as well as anti-oxidant. Can easily be kept in a container for easy access.

They are excellent eaten right out of hand, but they are often used to preserves, jellies, and jams. The leaves of the mulberry are cultivated in many parts of the world as food for silk worms. Surinam Cherry Tree Red Variety in a 3 Gallon Container. The tasty Surinam produces a 1" diameter, reddish-black cherry. This is a very unique looking cherry because of it`s pumpkin-like shape. The cherry ripens May through June. When fully ripe, it is delicious eaten fresh or in jellies. The plant is durable and can tolerate it's PH ranging from 5.5 to 7.5. It can be trimmed into a bush or small tree. Often grown as a thick hedge in central and south Florida. Easily grown in containers and makes a great edible hedge.

The pulp is sweet to sub-acid and surrounds several large seeds. The fruit are typically eaten fresh, but they are also used to make jellies and preserves throughout India and Malaysia.

Grape Vine Lake Emerald Gem Green Variety in a 3 Gallon Container. Muscadine grapes are native to the southern United States where they are grown both commercially and in the home garden. Unlike northern grapes, fruits are produced in small clusters or singularly on the vine. There may be a little as 3- 10 grapes per cluster. This Ultra-rare fruit Red Mangosteen or Garcinia hombroniana, is native to Asia, It is commonly called Red Mangosteen or Seashore or Beach Mangosteen. It is a small tree that grows near the seashore so is more salt and sand tolerant than the purple mangosteen. It is also considered by many to be more hardier than the Purple Mangosteen as well. Very exotic and uncommon. Makes a great container or patio plant In a 3 gallon container

Peach Tree Grafted in a 3 Gallon Container. Through a breeding program that began in 1953 the University of Florida successfully developed numerous low chill peach varieties suitable to Florida’s mild climate. The varieties we carry will grow and produce fruit even as far south as Miami. In fact, they have fruited successfully in Cuba and Nassau, Bahamas. The fruit quality is equal to that of temperate-zone cultivars, and small commercial plantings can be found throughout central Florida. The trees are deciduous and lose their leaves each winter, but they are highly ornamental otherwise making them an excellent choice for the home garden.

Rollina Tree in a 3 Gallon Container. Soft, yellow-skinned fruit similar in appearance to many of the Annona's but with more prominent spikes. The flesh is white to translucent, juicy, with an excellent sweet flavor.  Tastes like a creamy lemon sherbet and lemon meringue pie.

Pineapple Guava/Fieoja Tree in a 3 Gallon Container. The feijoa, or Pineapple Guava is native to extreme southern Brazil, northern Argentina, western Paraguay and Uruguay where it is common in the mountains. Is widely planted as a hedge, specimen or more ornately as an specimen and can if unpruned can reach heights of 15 feet tall and 15 feet wide in as many years. Pineapple Guava is used for two distinctly different purposes: for its flowers and for its fruits. There are few landscape plants that can be used for both, but its brilliant flowers, bright pink and red reaching 1.5 inches in diameter generally astound passerby’s. Its fruits are sweet and the taste resembles a cross between pineapple and guava. Fruits range in size from ¾ inch to 3 ½ inches long and are soft and yellow when ripe. Another useful purpose for the Feijoa is that it is very tolerant of salt, though this decreases fruit yield and causes it to produce fewer flowers. The leaves are leathery, dark green on top and a pale gray on the underside. The plant is remarkably disease and insect resistant, which makes landscaped areas easier to maintain. Makes a great edible hedge.

Mango Tree Tommy Atkins Variety Grafted in a 3 Gallon Container. Tommy Atkin is another Haden seedling selected here in Florida. It has become the most extensively planted export mango in the New World and it is the benchmark of the commercial mango industry. It's color, disease resistance, and storage qualities appeal to merchants and consumers worldwide. The fruit ripens June to July. Great commercial Mango and makes a great shade tree.

Lemongrass plant in a 3 gallon container. Lemongrass is a tropical herb packed with strong citrus flavor. The lemon taste is prized in Asian cooking, as well as in teas, sauces, and soups. In the garden, lemongrass forms a tall, grassy clump 3 to 5 feet tall. Its appearance rivals that of many ornamental grasses and can easily fulfill a similar role in the landscape.

Pineapple Plant 1-2 Gallon Container. Pineapples are among the most widely used tropical fruits in the world. The fruit grow on a small herbaceous plant that is in the same family as ornamental bromeliads. The plants can be reproduced by planting the crown of the fruit, but they are best grown from the suckers that occur at the base of the fruit or the mother plant. The plants begin producing fruit at one to two years of age.

Kiwi Vine 2 Plants In a Container 1 Male and 1 Female in a 3 Gallon Container. The Vincent and Tomuri varieties both have low chilling requirements which make them suitable to USDA zones 8b-10 or from Miami to Jacksonville. A male plant must be present to pollinate a female to produce fruit, but just one male is necessary for every eight females within proximity. They can be grown in partial shade or full sun, and it is best to support the vines with a fence or trellis. The vines will fruit at just two to three years of age producing the true fruit of commerce. Kiwis are deciduous and will lose their leaves in the winter and then flush out with new leaves in March

The Yellow Jaboticaba all the way from Brazil in a 3 gallon container resembles large gooseberries in appearance. The fruit's flavor being similar to an apricot making this a very delicious and sweet fruit.

Mango Tree Okrung Asian Variety Grafted in a 3 gallon container. Okrung is another excellent Thai cultivar introduced to Florida in 1973. Thai-cultivar, green-yellow fruit eaten while green. The fruit is traditionally served in Thailand in combination with sticky rice. One of the most popular varieties in Thailand. The fruit is very sweet, with the highest sugar content of any mango tested in Florida. It has a strong Indo-Chinese flavor and is somewhat fibrous. The fruit are small, hand in clusters and drop off the tree when ripe.
